Built in 1999, the Emirates Towers complex has always been considered the financial centre of Dubai, with the two skyscrapers rising to a height of 355 m and 309 m respectively. One tower serves as a fantastic luxury hotel, while the other contains the offices of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the U.A.E. and Prime Minister and “Ruler” of Dubai.

The Centaurus

The Centaurus is a huge complex in the central district of Islamabad, Pakistan. Designed by the British architectural firm WS Atkins, the complex consists of three buildings that house offices, residential apartments and a 5-star hotel. With their 41 floors, the skyscrapers are the tallest in the city, and all three are linked by a 4-storey shopping centre containing 250 shops which lies at their feet.
